Representative Office Licenses Ceased 20 Oct 2010, 4:24 pmBase on the newest regulation on Representative Office from AIC (Administration of Industrial and Commercial Bureau) dated 18th October 2010, please pay attention to below changes and updates:

(1) All new applications for a new representative office registration have been stopped.
(2) All changes to the existing representative office, including changes of office location, chief or common representative of the office, etc., have been stopped.
(3) All applications for the office extension or renewal have been stopped.

Considering above, you will not get approval for any of above application, including the following up procedures such like employment permit renewal and resident permit renewal since those applications will be arranged accordingly base on above regulation.

We strongly suggest you to review above information and please contact us for further advices and solution.

Sorry for the delay of the reply.

Now as the Aisan Game is over, the government reopen the registration adn renewal of the Representative Office. However, we recomment our clients to change the RO into other investment forms since we expect the government will impose stricter regulations on RO in the future.
