Macau Cultural Centre is located near the Macau Ferry Terminal with magnificent views of the Outer Harbour. With a total area of 45,000m2, the centre includes the Auditoria building, Museum building, Handover Gifts Museum and the Cultural Centre Plaza, offering top quality venues for performing arts events, conferences and exhibitions.
The Auditoria complex comprises two venues: the Grand Auditorium with a maximum capacity of 1,114 seats (with an orchestra pit), which is perfect for concerts, dance, operas & musicals, and the Small Auditorium with a capacity of 393 seats, which is designed to create a cosy ambience for film shows, conference, and other intimate performances. It can also be arranged as a banquet hall for 100 people. The flexible spiral layout with two movable partitions allows the conference room to convert into 3 smaller meeting rooms. Other features at the Cultural Centre include a cafeteria, a restaurant, bar, a post office and shop spaces.
