The "Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macau Dragon Boat Invitation Tournament" will begin on 30th June this year in Dongguan's Shatian Township.
As a key event in the first session of Shatian's Water Culture Festival, the tournament will be held in Danshui Lake. A total of 12 teams will take part in the tournament, including one team from Shatian, two other teams from Dongguan towns, three teams from the Pearl River Delta region, three from Hong Kong, and three from Macau.
At present, Shatian is hosting a Dragon Boat Players Competition to shortlist a strong local boating team to compete in the tournament.
