Gondwana Voices
Australia’s renowned children’s choir and the first of our national choirs, is for treble singers aged 10 - 16. Formed in 1997, Gondwana Voices performs with Australia’s leading music ensembles (such as the Australian Chamber Orchestra), represents Australia on international tours (such as the 2011 USA and Canada tour), performs at major national events and records for ABC Classics. In 2012 Gondwana Voices is conducted by Artistic Director Lyn Williams and Principal Guest Conductor Mark O’Leary.
The Young People's Chorus of New York City
The Young People's Chorus of New York City is an internationally renowned group that has more than 1,000 members and was founded by artistic Director, Francisco Nuñez in 1988. The chorus, for more than twenty years, has had children of all ages and ethnic backgrounds taking part in a unique program of music education and child performance. This program not only helps them as adolescents but is a great asset to their success for the rest of their lives. The chorus has performed in important occasions such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, and the American Ballet Theater.
China International Chorus Festival
China International Chorus Festival (CICF) is a national art festival held in Beijing in every two years. CICF is a cultural activity which brings choruses both at home and abroad together to sing. As the largest-scale and highest-level international chorus festival held in China, CICF plays an important role in improving performance level of the participating choruses and promoting cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
