Shenzhen Local Music is a blog and music guide created and written by a group of local musicians who are taking the initiative to bring high quality live music events to our local bars and venues. Shenzhen is already the connecting city for business in the PRD, why shouldn’t it be the same for music?

Shenzhen's live music scene is primed, ready, and now is in the early stages of becoming the center for music in the PRD. Shenzhen is a transient city; foreigners and Chinese are constantly coming and going, spending a year of their lives here and then moving on. Within that mix are interesting, creative, high energy musicians and writers. Why not build a community that supports these musos while they’re here and also adds to the color of our city?
