Have you got any idea how a marriage between Chinese and German can be proceeded? Maybe in China? Or in Germany? Which one is easier? Can either be recognized by each other country authority?
Thanks for any clue..
Just found your request today. Are you married already now? I am a German and married since 7 years with a wonderful Chinese lady.
Anyway such a marriage cost you a lot of paper works.
At first you can find a lot of information's at the webpage of the German consulate in Guangzhou
There you will find many information's about the procedure, the legalization and so on. The web site is in German and Chinese.
Pls. be aware, that each Consulate is only in charge for certain provinces (according your Hukou or temporary local ID), e.g. GZ fur Guangdong, Fujian, Yunnan. All areas not covered by one of the consulates have to be proceed via the German Embassy in Beijing. More complicated.
We are married according Chinese law and German law. I think to married first in China is the more easy way, but you will still need some documents from Germany such as an "Marriage License" means a proof, that you and your future husband are not married yet.
Let me know. if you need further help, I can much more details.
