Dolphin Aquarium?
Does anybody know anything definite about the supposed "Dolphin Training Centre" on Qi'ao Island? It is a very flash building and I'd like to know if it really is going to be a dolphin centre; who owns it; when will it open etc. So hard to get real news about what is going on in Zhuhai.

I know in an effort to protect the rare white dolphins, the government of China created a dolphin sanctuary in the Qi'ao Island of Zhuhai.
But i have never heard Zhuhai is going to build a dolphin center, then i search on the internet and get no result.
How do you get this info?
I just call the management agency of Qi'ao Island , they said, the building was completed, actually they want to build a Chinese White Dolphin training centre, but as we may know, Chinese white dolphin is a valuable treasure of China. In 1988, the Chinese White Dolphin (named as S.Chinensis in Latin) was listed as the national crucial first-class protected wild animal, that's why the training centre is still empty, it's really hard and complicate to put some Chinese White Dolphins into the centre, they are trying but it's going to take quite a long time to make it come true...

I have seen the nearly completed buildings several times. First time I was told it was to be a primary school but on Saturday a young man on Qi'ao Dao told me that it was to be a dolphin centre (he called it a "training centre" and when we asked what the dolpins would be trained for, he replied, just to entertain people!)
