mandarin chinese speakers over here!
I am studying mandarin, currently ~intermediate level, looking for someone to chat with in chinese. Happy to do mandarin/english language exchange, etc.
I live in HK but am staying in Zhuhai for a few weeks. I work in finance. Interests include tennis and motorcycle racing. Looking forward to meeting new chinese-speaking friends !!

Hi everyone! Does anyone know where to find basil? I also am looking for confectionary sugar (which Zhuhai deli SOMETIMES has)! Lastly any suggestions for Western groceries? I have checked out Zhuhai Deli, Jusco, Carrefour, and Euro Deli (which I found out upon getting there, no longer exists!)! Thank you in advance for any help!

Have you checked the market which is located 5 minutes down the road from Jusco?
I haven't been myself yet, but I keep hearing that they have a lot of western groceries. I will ask one of our staff to go and investigate.

As for basil, is it fresh basil that you are looking for?
If it's not the fresh basil, I know where you can find it, it's in the supermarket in Jida shopping mall, and this supermarket is just next to McDonald and Watsons, I forgot the name...but the basil in bag(green small bag) is with other imported stuff, which is not far from the small entrance of the supermarket. Hope you can find it.
