Out and About, In and Around Zhuhai.

Hi, I'm looking for information about interesting places to visit in and around Zhuhai. I'm looking for places such as beaches, islands, countryside and places of interest. We have only just moved to Zhuhai and I heard that there are a lot of great places. I'm particularly interested in the islands of Xiachong and it's neighbour. I'd like to hear from people who have experience of exploring these places. You can tell me which places are a 'must' and which places are a 'miss'.

Also, I'd like to know a little bit about transportation. How to get there, best route, scenic routes.

I'm a keen cyclist and would alsdo like to hear from other cyclists and their adventures out and about on 2 wheels.

I look forward to hearing from anyone in the know! I'm always on the look out for new places. places for fun, places for adventure, places to relax. I'm not made of money and like to travel on a budget. I'm not interested in posh hotels fancy food or golf courses. I more into beach BBQ's,roughing it in a tent or hammock and glugging on a bottle of beer enjoying a game of black jack by the camp fire.
