General Manager of Human Resources

Responsibilities

· Participate as a proactive member of the Executive Management Team of the Brigantine Group, taking end-to-end HR responsibility to contribute to the company’s business success through partnering with business manager.

· Formulate and execute HR strategy which aligns with business directions and help to achieve business objectives.

· Build up strong HR team by hiring and developing high potential talents; manage a geographically diverse group of HR professionals to accomplish goals and objectives pertinent to HR strategy.

· Proactively perform critical role as organization change agent and internal consultant for providing value added counselling and recommendations to help address people related issues to support good business decisions.

· Provide leadership that ensures the organization’s ability to attract, develop, retain talents and fully leverage human resources to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

· Ensure effective HR systems and processes are in place to support business managers in their efforts to manage their organization.

· Demonstrate and promote Company Vision, Mission and Values, be a role model to influence all levels to live the Corporate Values and apply them into daily work life.

Qualifications

Essential:

· Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 6 years in a management position

· Thorough knowledge of applicable employment laws, compensation philosophies and the HR systems and practices in the markets of Mainland China and Hong Kong

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Result oriented, self-starter with initiative and strong execution drive

· People management and development

· People acumen

Preferred:

· MBA or equivalent degree in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent relevant experience.

· Strong understanding of change management

· Competent in all HR functional areas (staffing, compensation, learning and development, etc.)

· Ability to apply strategic thinking to broad HR issues

· Ability to coach senior managers regarding organization and leadership effectiveness issues

· Strong leadership skills
