SR. BUYER - Components for Home Appliance

Consea is a management consulting firm specialized in Company's and plant's organization.
Consea has been successfully operating since 1975 in Europe. The Shanghai Office is mainly working with multinational companies setting up in China. Our core business is focused on the automotive, home appliance, fashion, textile and construction industries.

Responsibilities

- Map and classify the current supplier base
- Verify the correct purchasing price by comparing the price of current suppliers with market price and with the rest of the Group
- Identify new potential suitable suppliers in China or in other low-cost countries
- Select new potential suppliers based on price, production capacity, quality ect.
- Certify new suppliers together with R&D and Quality departments and recommend them to the Group
- Qualify the sourced components
- Replace unsuitable existing suppliers
- Manager cost reduction projects according to the Company's guidelines
- Generate standard components cost
- Select suppliers for the new products development according to the Global Commodity Manager's (GCM) strategy
- Negotiate yearly purchasing contracts for the assigned commodities
- Assist the GCM in the negotiation with Group suppliers
- Lead specific projects for new products launch

Qualifications

- Chinese native, fluent in English
- Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years experience in the purchasing dept. for WHITE GOODS
- Strong knowledge of suppliers' network for relevant commodities.
- Ability of reading out internal documents, material data sheets and quality control plans
- Highly responsible in dealing with large purchasing volumes
- Strong negotiation skills
- High integrity, reliability and honesty
