Product Engineer

1.Support PM team in development of business case and product specifications
advise on design feasibility and cost analysis; analyze and apply market / regulatory requirements to product specifications
2.Support sourcing function in component/product sourcing and qualification process, provide techinical trainings from time to time
translate marketing language into engineering terms, provide sourcing team with corresponding supplier choosing list and quotation reference for different component/product, perform as a consultant to help SDE qualify potential supplier
3. Support sales special requirement of product and ensure function, cost ,quality meet to the target.
4. Support product line to assembly the product ensure the quality and function is meet the requirement.
recommend appropriate process, procedure, device etc,.
5.Analyze and evaluate on product samples/prototype to ensure comliance to quality, functionality and cost target provide technical advice to test manager and SDE team on cpk, beta unit and certification test
6.Maintain engineering task schedules in product launch projects
strictly control in timeline, ensure product production and launch within the time frame
7.Modify and improve design of existing products
use VA/VE toolkit and get lessons from previous quality issues
8.Make detailed diagnoses on complicated quality issues
find out the root cause in design
9.Provide technical consultancy to marketing and sales team
