Dongguan, June 21, 2012 – Sofitel Dongguan Humen Oriental hosts a Hawaiian Theme Party to celebrate this festival with Jazz band live performance and French Bon Goût on June 21, 2012.
Fête de la Musique is a French national event born in 1982, which has reached an International level since 1985. As an ambassador of Sofitel to extend French touch, the Sofitel Dongguan Humen Oriental inherits the tradition of throwing theme parties on June 21 by inviting over 70 guests inclduing Media to celebrate this French music festival.
During the event, Four Corners, a jazz band projecting in Zhuhai, Guangdong performs fabulous French music which lights up the atmosphere of the event. The band intends to re-inspire classic jazz and blues music, while still utilizing a few modern pop classics. Their selected songs for the night mostly originate in Bossa Nova music style, which exactly features the Hawaiian theme of the party.
The Hawaii Hula dance organized by the hotel staff refreshes the guests by its brisk dance steps. The hotel extinguish this event by adding this novel element, which seccussfully breathes the Hawaii tropical culture into the Asia Ballroom.
Besides the Four Corners live band performance and Hula dance, the French Bon Goût offered to the guests also serves as an expression of French culture. Typical French deserts like mille-feuille pastry and macaron shares a Magnifique taste experience with the guests.
To surprise the guests attended in the party, the hotel also prepared a lucky draw for this special moment by offering complimentary room vouchers from the Sofitel and Pullman hotels at Bangkok, Sanya and Macau. Five lucky guests were rewarded at the end of the party.
