We were dreaming all last weekend about going long and strong this weekend with Fourth of July parties….. Next week, we will be in full force with the French Bastille day parties in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Vive la Delta!
We’re not sure how many Americans are living in the Delta. But we do know this — this Saturday there are a score of American Independence Day parties exploding around the Delta.

Our dear friend Kim Johnson of AmCham Macau is cooking up the house at Macau Tower. We will happily fork out MOP 288 for a crack at Kim’s famous crab-cakes. Bar none, this is going to be the best tasting barbecue going this weekend (and perhaps all summer). Really. In the mid-west Delta, Peter Hourle is throwing a huge yankee-doodle bash at Bellavista and Alex’s Bar. Proper frankfuters never tasted so good with fine German beers. Let’s not forget that the American pastime of Fourth of July hot-dogs and beer owe a lot to the Germans who settled in Chicago.
