A joint conference on the implementation of framework cooperation agreement between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao was held on July 26th. After the conference, a team of 43 representatives of the conference, led by Vice Mayor Feng Yurong, visited Hong Kong and made a study and exchange tour to Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department, Drainage Services Department and Urban Renewal Authority.
Chairman of the Urban Renewal Authority Zhang Zhenyuan, Chief Director of the Environmental Protection Department Wu Yourong warmly welcomed the delegation. After hearing the introduction of the work of the three departments, members of the team mainly exchanged ideas and experiences on key issues of urban redevelopment, monitoring PM2.5, water reclaim, etc.
Members of the team said that the visit was inspiring for their related work, which would facilitate further cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
