JIUZHOU Tourism Group will join hands with the Agricultural Science Research Centre in providing amusements and performances during the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year.
An open performance titled Happy Haojiang at Wanzai Tourist Wharf, the royal court play Drumming to Shake the World at New Yuanming Palace, Carnival at Pearl Land in Tangjiawan Town, Reunion Banquet at the Holiday Resort Hotel and the Coloured Chili Festival at the Agricultural Science Research Centre will be offered during the seven-day golden week festival.
The 5th New Year Carnival at Ocean Spring Resort will encompass a New Year Parade, God of Wealth Paying New Year Call, Family Taking Hot-Spring Bath, New Year Blessing Dance, Tiger Celebrating Spring on Mysterious Island, Acrobatics Show by funny clowns and many others.
The 4th Folk Art Parade combining Crane Singing and Dancing, Piaose Street Procession, Dise Land-Boat Procession, Shatian Folk Songs, On-Water Wedding and other local cultural heritage and Yangge, Waist Drum, Umbrella Dance, Taichi Fan and other out-of-town folk arts, will set out from East Gate of the Sports Centre in New Xiangzhou and proceed to the intersection of Xingye Road. The floats will be on display at the Sports Centre when the parade ends.
