On Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, the Zhuhai International Circuit again played host to the Pan Delta Race series. Drivers from Hong Kong, Macau, China and overseas competed in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Lightweight Sports Car Challenge, Superbike, China Asian GT Masters, Circuit Hero and Circuit Hero GT races. It was a hot and sunny weekend but that didn't wilt the enthusiasm of thousands of race fans from Zhuhai and beyond. Sometimes it can be hard to hear yourself think, with the sound of the roaring engines and squealing tires, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
The ZIC has become a popular destination not only for local club racers and pros, but also for privateers who can rent the track out for special weekends. There's even an excellent kart racing track for honing your racing skills. (Don't forget, that's where all the pros learn their stuff, including Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher!)
